Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation
and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
And you can watch the developer's preview of Google Wave @ http://wave.google.com
I was one of the most enthusiastic ones after seeing that video ... That's a long time ago ... But after using the Google Wave in its current preview version ,I can hardly say that Wave has liven up to its expectations ...
Though Wave is in its alpha stage , One can clearly see that it wont bring in major changes in its final version ... So Wave is not going to attract everybody ...
The reasons are ,
1)Its just an evolutionary step from Gmail and IM , put together and not a new innovation
2)Very resource hogging web app and takes a lot time to load
3)Real-time communication attracts only a few people , and too , it lacks much application
4)Not all modern browsers support wave natively
5)Its not a path breaking tool
